What is the closest thing to free energy?
Andrew Walker Is there any thing like free energy?
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed
From a certain perspective, therefore, there's no such thing as "un-free" energy.
What is the closest thing we have to perpetual motion?
Despite this, because the mechanism continues to function, the Beverly clock is considered one of the world's longest running experiments, and is the closest anyone will ever see to a “perpetual motion machine.”
Is near perpetual motion possible?
Is perpetual motion possible? According to Frey: No, but things can be engineered to approximate or mimic it. “The laws of physics indicate that perpetual motion would occur if there were no external unbalanced forces,” he says.
Why is perpetual motion illegal?
The laws of physics and nature tell us that it is impossible for a machine to produce more energy than it consumes, which creates a very real impediment to obtaining a patent.

Do perpetual machines exist?
A perpetual motion machine is a hypothetical machine that can do work infinitely without an external energy source. This kind of machine is impossible, as it would violate either the first or second law of thermodynamics or both.
What if I invented a perpetual motion machine?
If a perpetual motion machine did work, it would need to have certain traits. It would be "frictionless and perfectly silent in operation. It would give off no heat due to its operation, and would not emit any radiation of any kind, for that would be a loss of energy," said Simanek.
Can infinite energy be created?
A perpetual motion machine needs no energy input to create new energy, unlike a conventional model such as a car engine, which needs fuel input, or a solar panel, which needs sunlight. If made possible, a perpetual motion machine could generate infinite energy.
Why infinite energy is impossible?
Earth's gravity will never go away as long as it has mass. But since this is just a force and not an energy, the never-ending nature of gravity cannot be used to extract infinite energy, or any energy at all, for that matter.
Why do machines never have 100 efficiency?
Machine Efficiency
The output work is always less than the input work because some of the input work is used to overcome friction. Therefore, efficiency is always less than 100 percent. The closer to 100 percent a machine's efficiency is, the better it is at reducing friction.
Is perpetual motion possible with magnets?
Perpetual motion is impossible due to dissipation, or if you prefer second principle of thermodynamics and not to energy conservation.
Why free energy is not possible?
Free energy machines do not work. No machine can create energy out of nothing, as this would violate the law of mass-energy conservation, which is fundamental and universal. The law of mass-energy conservation states that mass-energy can never be created or destroyed.
Do flywheel generators really work?
The stored kinetic energy is the momentum of the flywheel and can actuate an electricity generator as another part of the system to produce power. Low maintenance costs, a long expected lifetime, fast response, and roundtrip efficiency of about 90% are of the main advantages of flywheel systems.
Are magnetic generators real?
Permanent-magnet generators are simple in that they require no system for the provision of field current. They are highly reliable. They do not, however, contain any means for controlling the output voltage.

Can you harness gravity?
You can indeed harness the energy of gravitation and it is done on a somewhat small scale, as the main method to do it is to use the tidal movements of water. Most places do not get particularly impressive tides, so it remains a rather minor method of producing energy.
Does energy create gravity?
The general (accidental pun) answer to your question is yes. General Relativity says that any form of energy is a source of gravity.
Can we harness lightning?
Lightning strikes over a year are around 1.4 billion, and of those, only about 25 per cent are actually ground strikes since most (75 per cent) are intra-cloud and cloud-cloud, and cannot be harnessed. That leaves only 350 million lightning strikes that could possibly be harnessed.
Are humans matter or energy?
In life, the human body comprises matter and energy. That energy is both electrical (impulses and signals) and chemical (reactions).
Does gravity ever repel?
Unlike the Force, with its dark and light sides, gravity has no duality; it only attracts, never repels. 3. NASA is trying to develop tractor beams that could move physical objects, creating an attractive force that would trump gravity.
Can energy be created?
The First Law of Thermodynamics (Conservation) states that energy is always conserved, it cannot be created or destroyed. In essence, energy can be converted from one form into another.
How does the eternal engine work?
The Engine also known as The Eternal Engine is the propulsion method of Snowpiercer. The Engine is a perpetual motion machine that propels the train forward with the use of hydrogen gained from the snow outside the train and without any obvious need for maintenance.
Can we make free energy with magnets?
Magnets don't contain free energy. They contain internal energy. It can be removed as the magnetism is lost. With the magnetic field there is an electric field vector circling the magnet, but eddy currents waste the electric potential.
How can I make my own electricity?
Options for generating your own electricity include:
- photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- wind turbines.
- micro-hydro systems.
- biomass and biogas engines.
- diesel or bio-diesel generators.
